The days are getting colder now. The other morning I had to de-ice my car at 5am before I could head to work! I wish I had a warmer coat on as well. So much for being organised!
I have been browsing online at the Winter clothes trends for women, hoping to get some inspiration for a new coat or jacket. The Winter fashion trends this season are chunky knitwear, the colour red, big hats and fancy footwear including knee high boots. All with a 70’s vibe. Checks and tweed patterns are also big this season.
Being a redhead the colour red doesn’t suit me. I’m more into greens/browns and turquoise shades of blue. If you saw my Autumn wardrobe checklist, it was mainly neutral colours and knitwear.
Checks have always been a favourite of mine. They seem big this Winter on the catwalk, but if you have chunky thighs it’s best to keep the pattern to a short tailored jacket or shirt.
I love supersize wool sweaters with a long skirt and boots, teamed with a jacket. David Nieper jackets and coats have a lovely selection of outside wear, perfect for Winter. From luxury occasion wear to everyday jackets, gilets and ponchos.
The Winter weather in the UK can be mild at times and bitterly cold at other times. Having a couple of jackets or coats suitable for all temperatures is advisable. A quick throw on nylon coat is preferable in mild wet climates, then a quilted coat is suitable for when the weather changes.
Winter Fashion Trends Checklist:
- Chunky knitwear
- Big hats
- Fancy footwear
- Knee high boots
- 70’s vibe

Have I got everything on the checklist? Is there anything you would add?
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have enjoyed this post.
