Vampirina is one of my daughter’s favourite Disney Jr shows. She was just over 18 months old the first time she saw it on TV and it’s been a firm favourite ever since. She was over the moon and so excited to be given the chance to look at the Vampirina Toy Collection from Flair/Just Play.
Read on to see what we thought of some of the most wanted toys on the market at the moment.
Vampirina “Vee” Hauntley is a 6-year-old girl who is the new kid on the block after she and her family move from Transylvania to Pennsylvania to open a local bed and breakfast, called the Scare B&B for visiting ghouls, vampires and goblins.
A few months back I received a DNA kit through the post from Living DNA. I find it really exciting learning about family ancestry, family trees and knowing where you come from. Now my dad and aunt have gone, plus having no grandparents on either side, I have no other older family members to chat to regarding the family history. I’m lucky that I have managed to go back as far as I can while researching the family tree.
So having the chance to learn and discover by having my own DNA tested about my ancestors going back 10 generations is amazing. Living DNA covers your family line ancestry, but unlike other tests they also include your motherline, and your fatherline ancestry if you are male.
Your child’s safety is the utmost importance, so you want them to be as safe as possible while travelling in a car. You hear about so many traffic accidents nowadays that the road can be a scary place. It was in our local news recently that a lady unfortunately lost her life after colliding with a slow-moving tractor, but the baby in the back in a rear-facing car seat did not have a scratch on her. This goes to show how rear-facing child car seats are can be safer than forward facing.
I’m working alongside Axkid – a swedish rear-facing car seat manufacturer to share our thoughts on their Axkid New Minikid. A rear-facing car seat launched this year, that has been designed to provide the best possible safety and comfort for both small and large children. It enables your child to travel rear-facing for as long as possible. It can be used up until around 6 years of age or 25 kg.
A few months back we got the chance to review and test out the Zoomer Zupps Pretty Ponies, now we are back looking at the Zoomer Hungry Bunnies. I love his/her name Shreddy, to begin with I wasn’t sure why the bunny was called that. But all was revealed!!
Going away to Bluestone a couple of weeks ago was our first holiday as a family of four. So I’ve been going through our photos and finding the best ones to capture onto a canvas. Capturing holiday memories is important to me as our girls are growing away so fast, and I want to treasure every precious moment. Tesco Photo invited me to try out their online service to get canvases of our holiday.
Using Tesco Photo online was easy, it was choosing which photos to use was the hardest! I went for a template canvas print and a retro style canvas print.
We love our role play toys. Baby girl’s latest favourite thing to do is to pretend she works in a shop (like her mummy does!) and goes around with her shopping trolley picking up her play food and heading to the till. We are a huge fan of Casdon role play toys and this latest one doesn’t disappoint! The Chip ‘n’ Pin Till is fantastic for pretend play alongside the shopping basket. A huge thanks to Casdon for sending these over to us to review, you made my little girls day!
The Chip ‘n’ Pin till comes with some pretend boxes and cans of food, but I would recommend getting the Casdon Shopping Basket to go alongside. The basket contains lots of packets and tins, not forgetting a lemon! The items are real life miniatures of the real thing. Yes there is even a box for an Arctic Roll, my fav!
