So when we were sent the Hoover Upright 300 Vacuum Cleaner to review, I knew we were going to put it through its paces! You can also get a pet version, but we don’t have pets inside – the chickens live in the garden! Let’s explore this vacuum further!

The HU300 is one of Hoover’s lightest and most steerable vacuums to date. It also comes in a stylish red colour, and is among one of many upright vacuum cleaners in the Hoover Direct collection.

It weighs less than 5kg with an 80 degree steering angle, I’ve discovered it’s very useful for those hard to reach areas. With it being lightweight, it’s really to carry up and down the stairs. These are two important features in a vacuum cleaner!

One thing very important in a vacuum cleaner is that it has no loss of suction, it’s also very quiet. The HU300 has no loss therefore makes it the ultimate upright vacuum cleaner for a busy home of any size. The sustained air performance is maintained using multi-cyclonic technology. Which also helps to push the dust away from the filter, therefore helping the filters stay cleaner for longer. If you have allergy sufferers in your household, then the Hoover Upright 300 is ideal. It has a washable H13 HEPA filter that traps allergens and helps to purify the air around you. 

One feature that I really like is the ability to switch the HU300 from carpet to hard floor, by sliding the vent across. The brush bar is switched on for carpets and then you can switch off for hard flooring and longer pile rugs.

The Hoover Upright 300 is a great vacuum cleaner, light and easy to manouvere without causing strains on your back. It cleans the carpet brilliantly from crumbs, dust and hair. Since having my girls I have been known to lose a lot of hair! This does wind around the brush bars on all vacuums.
