My two-year old is a fan of stuffed teddies and toys, I expect the new baby will be as well. So when we received the new crochet Meegos series 1 soft toys to look at I knew they would be become a firm favourite in our house. The Meegos are hand crocheted and there are many to collect. Including limited editions – watch out for them!
With the new baby arriving next week, I was excited to receive this adorable Disney Dumbo activity plush baby toy in the post. We don’t have a lot of baby toys for the new one yet, there are stacks of baby girls toys everywhere! So it was a pleasant opportunity to have a look at one of the new baby toys from Rainbow Designs. They have put together a brand new Disney range exclusively for Tesco that launched in store and online on the 11th April.
Baby girl has a new fascination with ponies. Getting the chance to review one of the Zoomer Zupps Pretty Ponies has come at the right time for us. There are six Pretty Ponies in the series one collection. We got ‘Lilac’ to try out. The others are ‘Dixie’, ‘Electra’, ‘Nova’, ‘Star’ and ‘Sugar’.

British Science week is a ten-day celebration from the 9th -18th March of science, technology, engineering and maths, featuring entertaining and engaging events and activities across the UK for people of all ages. You can take part in the week by organising an event. The British Science week organisation will help you plan by providing free activity and support resources. They welcome and support any type of organiser, from schools to community groups, and from parents to large organisations. Or you can take part by just popping along to a pre-existing event.
I love shopping haul challenges. When I was given the chance to head over to the PoundToy website with a £50 voucher to spend on their website I was eager to see what I could get for my money. I know the website is called PoundToy, but don’t let this confuse you. Of course some toys are £1 and even less, but most are over £1. The prices are still rock bottom though, and very competitive with high street and other online toy stores.
Plus most of the items are branded toys. If you are looking for birthday and Christmas gifts and are on a budget, this website is for you. They also have a great party supplies section – everyone in one place!
We worked with Wicked Uncle back in 2016 on a challenge post with them and it was such great fun! This year we are simply writing a review on a toy we have chosen to look at. Which happens to be a fantastic little wooden railway train set.
Wicked Uncle gave us the opportunity to select toys to review with a £40 voucher. I love how their site is divided into age categories plus boys and girls toys. Yes I know some people find it wrong to have boys and girls toys and they should be gender neutral or whatever, but I grew up with girls and boys toys and so did my generation and we are alright!
