I can’t believe we are nearly at the end of September. The summer holidays now seem so very far away! The girls have been back to school 3 weeks now and I get my time back during the day to crack on with this work. And of course, we are heading into the busiest time of the year for us bloggers and content creators. I’ve been working on my Christmas content since July, so I’m now full on into Christmas! Here is last month’s family diary roundup if you missed it! But now let’s get onto the family diary and roundup September 2024!

Last week we had some very sad family news. It made me realise that life is so very short and you don’t know what’s around the corner. When my dad passed away L was just over 2 so didn’t really understand or know what was going on. Now she’s 8 it’s been a new parenting experience to tell a child that a family member has passed away. With Dot’s learning capabilities, she doesn’t understand so it’s not something we can tell her or explain to her for now.

You may remember from last month that I mentioned I passed my college course. Well, I got my certificate! I’m very proud of it and I know it will help me conquer the authorities in getting Dot the right help she needs to progress in life. It really shouldn’t be a battle to get help for your child, but there is always a brick wall in front of you!

Our apple tree that’s gotta be over 6 years old finally gave us apples this year!

Rosemary Shampoo

For years I’ve had thinning hair. What was once super thick hair as a child is now pretty sparse in places, especially at the front. It got a lot worse after having the girls!
