*Ad-gifted: We received a copy of We’re Off To Find A Unicorn in exchange for this post.
Today it’s my stop on the blog tour for We’re Off To Find a Unicorn by Eloise White and Cory Reid published by Owlet Press. You may remember my review of The Blanket Bears a couple of days ago by the same publisher.
L, like any other little girl, is obsessed with unicorns, We’re Off To Find a Unicorn has been a hit at bedtime this week.

Book Description
We’ve hunted for bears, elves and eggs… now we’re hunting for everyone’s favourite – unicorns! But readers will not only enjoy looking for the hiding unicorn in the pages, they’ll also learn about our world’s endangered wildlife along the way.
Our Review
With bright, colourful and fun unicorn illustrations, We’re Off To Find a Unicorn is an ideal book for getting across the issue of endangered species. It’s also lovely to see a diverse range of characters in the book with different abilities, who are enjoying the adventure of searching for the unicorn.
So basically a group of explorers head off in search of a mystical magical unicorn (this rhyming phrase is used a lot!) They explore all sorts of environments from the wild woods to the snowy lands. What they don’t realise is that the unicorn is alongside them all the time. You have to keep an eye out for it! We didn’t realise this the first time we read the book, but now it’s spot the unicorn every time we read!
We have thoroughly enjoyed this book, with its rhyming words and learning about animals not commonly known. Another “important issue” book from Owlet Press.
