My Personalised Unicorn Adventure Book – Review and Giveaway

*AD-gifted: We received a copy of My Personalised Unicorn Adventure Book in exchange for this post.

Is there any little girl out there that doesn’t love unicorns! To celebrate National Unicorn Day on the 9th April I’ve teamed up with In The Book to offer you the chance to win your own copy of the personalised Unicorn Adventure Book. L was really excited to receive her own copy of the unicorn adventure book. She has recently learned how to spell her name, so books with her name on are a huge hit with her at the moment, as well as her obsession with unicorns. She tells me most nights before bed that she would love to ride a unicorn in the sky!

Book Description

Along with a special message on the opening page, this unicorn book for kids features any name on the cover and intertwined into the hand drawn illustrations. The reader will become the spirited unicorn who sets out to find the best place for unicorns to have fun. From the beautiful meadows to the delicious Candyland, there’s no time for horsing around as the reader is transported from one page to the next, galloping through the magical places. You can even choose which edition you would like from the softback, hardback or classic hardback featuring the child’s name embossed in gold on the premium cover.

What We Thought

Wonderful front cover, bright colourful and full of unicornness! I love that you can add your own message at the front of the book, up to 80 characters over two lines. It gives it a fabulous touch, especially if it’s for a birthday or Christmas.

It’s lovely to spot the recipients name intertwined throughout the book in amongst the hand-drawn illustrations.

At 4 years old, she is a sensitive soul and found the story sad in places when the unicorn was upset in the dark forest. I’m having to skip those pages with her at the moment. She thinks of unicorns happy creatures, so I don’t want to spoil that for her. However, her two favourite parts are getting to Candyland and reaching the Unicorn castle at the end.

The best surprise was when L reached the back of the book and saw her picture. She was like “how did that get there mummy?” I told her the unicorns were looking for her to join them at the unicorn castle! Her beaming smile made my day.

  1. My wonderful granddaughter Mila-Rose would ADORE this, she loves EVERYTHING Unicorn. 🙂 Thanks for the chance to enter,

  2. looks lovely! Although its probably aimed for girls, I don’t see a reason why my son wouldn’t love this, he likes colourful books x

  3. My daughter would love this, she loves it if she sees her name in a book, she would be amazed when seeing the picture at the end.

  4. I would love to win this for Leo. Unlike his big sister Daisy, he’s not that ‘into’ books. He likes a book at bedtime but otherwise he tends to ignore them. So if he had a book with his name and photo in, he might decide to take more of an interest.
