Happy 3rd Blogiversary – Giveaway Day 2

Welcome back to Day 2 of my 3rd blogiversary giveaways. You can catch up with the Day 1 giveaway here.

The first year of blogging, I did it as a hobby. Writing about my favourite hobbies – books, gardening and entering competitions. When my daughter joined us, I turned my blog into another direction – family/parenting orientated. At the start of blogging I couldn’t think of a decent blog name so chose my own name Rachel Bustin. Now I’m so glad I did because that name can grow with my blog into any direction and not just the “mummy blogger” route.

Blogging is not just a hobby for me or even a job, it’s a way of life. There is hardly a day goes by that I don’t write something. If I can’t get on my laptop I write posts on the app on my phone.

It’s amazing to find something in life that you know you were born to do. It may have taken me until I hit my 30’s to get there but I’m here at last!

  1. Happy Blogiversary. 3 years is no mean feat and many don’t appreciate the dedication it takes to keep a blog relative to the readers. Congratulations.

  2. Happy 3rd blogiversary! It’s lovely to hear how much you love blogging and have found something your so suited to. I’ve been telling myself for years to start a blog and my main hang up is that I can’t decide what direction it would go in maybe I should take a leaf out of your book and name it after myself so It can travel in whichever way I choose, thanks for inspiring me and hope you have many more happy blogiversaries!

  3. Happy Birthday. The brushes look great. I’m pretty useless at putting on make-up so these brushes would help me a lot.

  4. Happy 3rd Birthday & heres to many more! Whatt a lovely prize, I really like the look of the pallette, with olive toned skin I love a blush with orange ones which can be hard to find, this looks perfect!

  5. Happy 3rd Blogiversary. Well done on your success and may you have many more years of it 🙂

    Thank you for the giveaway.

  6. Fab giveaway, I would give these to my daughter, she’s just starting out with make up and would benefit from the proper brushes

  7. Don’t they say you should change your brushes at least once yearly? Mine must be like 5 years old! A new set would be fab!

  8. Happy blogversary! Also I noticed in your twitter bio it said you were expecting a new bundle of joy in spring. . . good luck!

  9. Happy anniversary rachel,my daughter is obsessed with sleek makeup and brushes,i haven’t a clue what to do with them ,hence i ruined one of her brushes a while back and it cost me £25 to replace it,id love my own to experiment with .

  10. I always need a touch of blusher to complete my make-up – a choice of shimmering or matte is useful. I’m glad to see that the brush set is cruelty-free and also that they are soft. It would be lovely to try these.

  11. I really need some new make up brushes. I melted my favourite one when I left my hair straighteners on it.
