The Falmouth Cringe is excited to announce the release of its first slate of comedians for its second annual comedy festival, taking place from July 6th to 9th 2023. The festival will take place in various local venues in Falmouth and will feature a diverse lineup of comedic talent from across the UK.
Opening The Festival
Opening the festival this year will be Kiri Pritchard McLean, known for her appearances on Have I Got News For You and Live at the Apollo. Other notable comedians on the first programme release include Shelf (musical comedy double act from South London rated 4* in The Guardian), Alison Spittle (an Irish comedian and podcaster as heard on Off Menu, Guilty Feminist, The Gargle and her own podcast with Kerry Katona, Wheel of Misfortune on BBC sounds), and Rachel Fairburn (a comedian and writer from Manchester who has been a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2014 and has appeared on TV shows including Richard Osman’s House of Games, Alan Davies As Yet Untitled and BBC Stand Up for Live Comedy). The Falmouth Cringe is proud to feature a mix of established and up-and-coming comedians, providing a platform for diverse voices in the comedy world.
