First Impressions & Taste Test
As someone who has tried traditional diet programmes before, I was pleasantly surprised by what Habitual offer. The pack meal replacement shake didn’t feel like typical diet food. They were full of flavour, nutritious, and satisfying. Yes, they did make me feel full!
Here’s a breakdown of my experience with the range of soups and shakes – and the porridge!
- Chocolate Shake – This was a personal favourite. It was very moreish, thick, and had a great taste without being overly sweet. The perfect indulgence without the guilt!
- Spiced Carrot Soup – Smelt and tasted delicious. If you hadn’t told me, I would never have guessed this was a weight loss product.
- Green Vegetable Soup – I liked this one a lot. Lovely taste. Great for lunch on a cold day!
- Banana Porridge – Unfortunately, this wasn’t my cup of tea. I found it a bit too sweet and the consistency wasn’t great. But, taste is subjective, and others might enjoy it!
- Tomato and Red Pepper Soup – A comforting taste, very pleasant and a fab nutritious option, rich in essential nutrients.
- Spiced Chai Shake – A unique sweet flavour that added a twist to the usual shake options. This was my least favourite shake flavour.
- Caramel Shake – A nice caramel flavour, but the only thing is that it’s too sweet for me.
- Vanilla Shake – Tastes pretty good. It’s a great alternative if chocolate isn’t your flavour.
- Strawberry Shake – I’m not a strawberry flavour fan, so this one isn’t for me. Once shaken it does have a nice thick consistency.
I preferred the soups over the shakes.
Favourites: Spiced Carrot Soup, Green Vegetable Soup and the Chocolate Shake.
Least favourites – Banana Porridge and the Spiced Chai Shake.
