My Sunday Photo 07/08/2016 – Quirky Coasters

Yesterday we had a walk around our local Farmer’s market in Truro, and this week they had a marquee as extra with lots of Cornish companies inside. For My Sunday Photo this week I decided to show you the cute and quirky coasters we bought from the Cornish Bird in the Sticks

How funky are these?

There were so many designs to choose from and many were designed with local landmarks in mind and easily distinguishable to me.

Bright and colourful quirky coasters from Cornish Bird in the Sticks

The owl and the pussy cat coaster in the boat caught my eye. Its just so cute as well as having that quirky feel to it. When I was little I grew up around tractors and the farm life so anything like the tractor coaster above finds a place in my home. My husband love dogs so that one was his choice. I love the little detail of the engine house in the background.

I love discovering local businesses that sell different gifts, cards and home decorations and giving them support. It’s a tough world to break into and by doing my little bit, like telling you today about Cornish Bird in the Sticks hopefully gives them a little boost. We are all trying to make a decent living and sharing our passions.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

Thank you for sharing

I too love the owl and the pussycat coaster, although they are all fab. Shopping local is the best 🙂
