I get it men need their space! Mr B is always on about setting up a man cave at the top of the garden, or even taking over space in our future extension! I guess it must be hard living with all females! Hehe!! So I thought I would write him a dream list of what every man wants in his man cave, to give him ideas of course!
1. Seating
OK, so a man cave needs comfortable seating, large couches, man chairs, and giant bean bags. They will get lots of use, so need to be strong and durable. Reclining and footrest options are a huge plus. If you need to go that one step further then a cup holder would be appreciated.
2. Entertainment options
Now you can take this one of two ways! Entertainment options include your enormous TV screen for watching sports and huge monitors for gaming on. 3. Beer fridge and bar

A man cave isn’t the brightest of spaces. In fact, pretty much all are deep dark colours. Black, earthy tones and wood are perfect. Dim lighting is a must-have, which is even better if it can be controlled by a smart home hub so he wouldn’t have to leave his seat!
Posters, prints, signs and those metal artwork pieces are ideal for decorating the walls. Think along the lines of old American-style tin number plates and beer signs dotted around. I think the best way to design a man cave is to know what your other half is into. If he has lots of collectibles, you will need to go larger on the display shelving or units. If he is into his gaming more than movies a dedicated space to gaming is of course essential!
