Holiday Capsule Edit: Cotton Traders “Loved by Jasmine” Collection Focus

Ad/PR Samples.

If you’re anything like me, packing for a holiday is always a mix of excitement… and the classic “I’ve got nothing to wear” moment (even though the wardrobe is full). What I really want is a small set of pieces that feel comfy, look pulled-together, and can be mixed and matched without overthinking it.

That’s why I’ve been loving Cotton Traders’ latest Loved by Jasmine collection. It’s inspired by easy, feel-good style for the season ahead, with a focus on fluid silhouettes, expressive prints, and lightweight layering. Basically, the kind of wardrobe that works for sun-filled days and those slower summer evenings when you want to feel relaxed but still nice.

For this little holiday capsule edit, I’m focusing on one hero piece (a gorgeous printed cotton top) and a few extras that help you build outfits around it.

My Loved by Jasmine hero piece (and the size I chose)

1) Printed Cotton Top (Light Orchid) Size 20

Here’s the piece I’d build a whole holiday mini-wardrobe around: the Printed Cotton Top in Light Orchid.

The Light Orchid colour is such a pretty, wearable shade for summer. Soft, uplifting, and a lovely alternative to the usual neutrals. And because it’s cotton, it’s the kind of top you can throw on in warm weather and still feel comfortable (especially when you’re walking around, travelling, or just trying to stay cool).

What I love most for holiday dressing is that a printed top instantly makes an outfit feel “done”. Even if you’re keeping everything else simple – denim shorts, linen trousers, or a plain skirt. The print does the work for you.

How I’d wear it on holiday:

  • With white jeans or linen trousers + sandals for dinner
  • With denim shorts + trainers for daytime exploring
  • With a lightweight cardigan or kimono when the evening breeze kicks in

2) Long Sleeve Slogan Towelling Sweatshirt Size 20

Long Sleeve Slogan Towelling Sweatshirt

This towelling sweatshirt is the kind of layer I always end up grateful I packed. The towelling fabric gives it that relaxed, holiday feel (and it looks great with denim). It’s ideal for:

  • early morning coffee runs
  • cooler evenings
  • breezy beach walks

If you like that “effortless but cosy” vibe, this is a brilliant throw-on.

3) 3/4 Sleeve Boat Neck Printed Top (Navy) Size 20

A boat neck top is such a flattering neckline, and I love a 3/4 sleeve for holidays because it’s practical (sun coverage without feeling too warm). The navy base makes it feel classic, while the print keeps it fun and easy to style.

This is one of those tops that works with everything – perfect if you’re trying to pack light!

4) Reversible Sun Hat (Chambray) Colour: Chambray

A good sun hat is a holiday essential, and I really like that this one is reversible. It’s basically two looks in one, which is exactly what you want when you’re building a capsule wardrobe.

Pop it into your bag for pool days, beach days and those long walks where you forget how strong the sun can be.

How I’d style this as a mini holiday capsule.

If you’re going for that “small suitcase, lots of outfits’’ win, here are a few easy combinations:

  • Printed Cotton Top (Light Orchid) + linen trousers + sandals + sun hat
  • Boat Neck Printed Top (Navy) + jeans + trainers for travel days
  • Towelling Sweatshirt + shorts for casual evenings
  • Any top + hat + sunglasses = instantly more holiday-ready

The best part is that everything here fits that easy, feel-good brief: pieces that are comfortable, flattering, and designed to move with you through the day.

Final thoughts

The Loved by Jasmine collection really nails that sweet spot between practical and prett. And for me, that’s exactly what holiday style should be. You want clothes that feel effortless, pack well, and still make you feel confident when you catch your reflection in a shop window (or a holiday photo!).

If you end up picking anything up from the collection, let me know what you chose. I’m always interested to hear what other people love for their summer wardrobe.
