*Jewellery Trends for Spring/Summer 2021 is a collaborative post with Nakturnal.
We all know 2020 has been a total washout of a year, we haven’t been able to go shopping like we normally would. But with a new year approaching, fingers crossed we can get back to some kind of normality and get ourselves up on par with the fashion and jewellery trends for Spring/Summer 2021. Take your loved ones out jewellery shopping and treat them to a special piece. Even more important if you have missed seeing them on their birthday. Jewellery can make you feel good about yourself, it can uplift your outfit and brighten your mood. Even if you are ar home in your PJs!
I’ve been researching what jewellery pieces we can expect to see in the smaller boutiques and high street shops that have come from the catwalk shows.

Statement Rings
Big, bold costume style rings will be in next year, you can even use them as stackable rings. The chunky rings can be made from resin, plastic, or metal stacking 2 on each finger. For a clashing and more edgy look, you can mix the different ring materials. Let the rings do the talking!

Moonstone Jewellery
I’m a huge fan of the milky moonstone gem. It’s the birthstone for June. Moonstone has benefits and is known for its peace, hope and happiness properties. It helps to bring positive energy around you and very popular to be worn as a pendent, ring or earrings.
Gems like the moonstone have been gathering in popularity for a while. In 2021 it will be one of the top jewellery trends for Spring/Summer 2021. people are interested in jewellery that has meaning to them.
Chunky Chains
They are back. Large chunky chains mixed with charms and beads are going to be hot. A simple outfit could benefit from a bolder accessory like a large chain. Remember to keep the chunky chain the star of the show and minimise any other jewellery.
Vintage
You may remember I touch on vintage jewellery like brooches back in my Autumn 2020 jewellery trends post. Well, vintage is not going away, it’s here to stay for 2021. The younger generation is loving vintage-inspired pieces, teamed with simple, yet modern outfits.

Sterling Silver
Your first stud earrings were probably sterling silver. The delicate sterling silver jewellery is around for 2021. Silver rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pendants from a bygone era are now returning for a newer generation.
