*Ad-gifted – We received The boy with a fox on his head in exchange for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
We have story time in the afternoons and before bed. With both the girls really interested in books, we need to have lots to keep them occupied. We went through a stage of reading the same book five times in a row for a while! This past couple of weeks, The Boy with a Fox on his Head has been a firm favourite.

Book Description
It’s time for Rio to go to sleep, but his cheeky Fox has other ideas that might keep Rio awake for a very long time.
Based on a true story.

What We Thought
I love the front cover illustration. It’s fun! The concept of a fox living on a boy’s head tickled L, she found it hilarious. The boy tried everything to get the fox to come down, but he wouldn’t.
The Boy with a Fox on his Head is a rhyming book, simple but effective for young children to enjoy. The illustrations give great talking points. A pleasure to read with the girls.
