*AD-Gifted: We were gifted a copy of Lily and the Pink Pyramid in exchange for this post.
If there is a children’s book with a unicorn in it, L will love it! Just like many girls her age, unicorns are beautiful mythical creatures, and they all want to ride one! I knew Lily and the Pink Pyramid would be a great read for L.
This story takes an inquisitive and plucky little girl called Lily, on a journey to an enchanted place where she is greeted by a unicorn. Together they journey into a magical forest with a lake where Lily’s reflection asks her a puzzling question.
Before returning home, she finds the answer to her puzzle while being inside a magnificent pink crystal pyramid.
What We Thought
Lily and the Pink pyramid is a delightful children’s book. Its descriptions are very vivid. We particularly like the curious looking flowers smelling of chocolate, vanilla, caramel and peppermint! Lily goes on a journey to an enchanted place with a unicorn. The lake in a magical forest asks her a question that leaves her rather puzzled.
But Lily finds her answer inside the Pink Pyramid and leaves very happy. The book has a lovely story and illustrations that tell that story just as much as the text.
We have thoroughly enjoyed reading Lily and the Pink Pyramid, a book that shows us hope, love and a little girl with a strong imagination!
