Over the past 6 years I’ve been blogging, photography has always been a hard subject for me. although I’ve improved, there is always room to learn more skills and tips. So I was pretty excited to check out The Instagram Bag from Paper Bag Co. It’s a stylish black tote bag full of equipment to help you with your photos. It’s designed to have everything you need in the bag to take your food photos while out and about. I’m not a food blogger, so rarely take foodie photos, but I take many product photos on my blog and I know this will come in really handy.
What’s included in The Instagram Bag?
- A Stylish black tote bag with a generous size shoulder-length handle. Two different designs on either side of the bag. Inside you have an internal pocket, and mesh divider section. The bag has a zip closure to keep your valuables safe. The bag is ethically sourced and made in a Sedex compliant factory. It’s lightweight and durable so perfect for carrying about town snapping your foodie photos!
- 5 in 1 pop-up reflector. This 15-inch photographic reflector and diffuser will help you to brighten and enhance both highlights and shadows on your photos. You can either subtly or dramatically alter the lighting and colour in all of the images you create to make that special to your brand.
- 8 postcards set on the most gorgeous card. Each has tips on getting your photography spot on. Such as how to use light, think about composition, choose your background and more! I love these!
- 4 photography backdrops. These are fantastic for making your photography stand out. They are four different colours and textures so great for experimenting. The quality of the designs on the background is great for close-up shots.
What I thought
It’s a great bag of tricks, to make your photos stand out. The perfect complement to your phone for taking snaps out and about. It’s marketed as great for foodie bloggers and content creators, for Instagram but I think it would suit all niches and platforms.
It’s quick easy to get all the parts out of the bag and then pack away after. The four backgrounds are stored safely inside a cardboard tube so as not to get damaged, and this fits perfectly in the bag. I’ve been using this setup for photographing my Mother’s Day Gift Guide and during these dark rainy days, the reflector makes such a difference to the images. I can’t wait to learn more skills from the tips postcards to up my game! If you are stuck for a gift for a budding photographer and content creator then this is for them. I love The Instagram Bag!
