I’m a huge stationery fiend and a few weeks back I had a dilemma that I’m sure most bloggers have. What planner shall I get for the start of a brand new year? There are many great ones on the market to suit all budgets. Some are generic, others you can customise to your own requirements.
I have been on a little gathering trip hunting down diaries and planners to review for you. There are many available out there and this list is just a few of them.
Poundland Diaries
At just £1 each these beautiful diaries are A5 size and perfect for out and about. They have many designs available.
The pages inside are basic and feel quite thin, but for £1 you couldn’t ask for more. You get plenty of writing space for each day, as you can see from the photo above. There is a year planner included at the front. At the back you have a cash account section to help you with your finances, an address book and some pages for note taking. Great value for the price.
Busy B
Busy B sent me these gorgeous products to look at for this post. The larger one is a receipt storage book which I believe is a blogger’s essential for keeping track of receipts. It contains 12 handy storage pockets for each month of the year. Plus on each pocket is space to record all the important details.
RRP £9.99 (it’s on special for £5.99 at the time of writing this post!)
The other product from Busy B is the perfect pocket To Do diary you can get. It contains a week to view, tear off list pages, reminder pages and also three handy pockets for bits and bobs. Lovely designed and on thick quality pages, it’s great to see you through the whole year.
RRP £9.99 (it’s on special for £5.99 at the time of writing this post!)
Collins
Ryman Stationery have a huge selection of planner and diaries to choose from. This pale green and gold Collins diary is perfect for organising a busy life. It’s a daily diary with a page a day divided into half hourly time slots. The diary also contains a yearly planner, International holidays list, telecommunications guide for international phone calls and a notes section.
Stigu
I have used a Stigu planner for the past couple of years. I love the idea behind it. It encourages you to rest with helpful little activities and become a well organised and skillful planner.
It is everything in one book. A calendar, to-do pad, notebook, planner and of course a rest and zest handbook hosted by the character Stigu. Each month is a new theme to keep you inspired. I love the layout of the book, it just makes me smile. You can also get a funky sticker book to add to your planner to help you plan your day. The Stigu stickers come in a sweet little book containing all 350 stickers
Included are also 32 blank pages for notes and a big back pocket for adding slips. Key holidays from the UK, US, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, and key global ones are added as standard.
Stigu Planner 2018 (Spiral Bound) RRP £18.90
Personal Planner
I have never designed my own planner before, so when Personal Planner got in contact, I was well excited to see what they had on offer. I couldn’t believe you can actually design every part of the planner. Everything from the front cover, to the layout colour and design to the starting month. What content you would like to be included as well as personal dates, maps, colouring pages, Sudoku puzzles and so much more. I can tell you I was like a kid in a sweet shop!
Of course my planner is for my blog so what else could I call it other than Rachel’s Blog Planner!
I added a little to do checklist at the bottom plus a list of the week. There are many different things you can add to make it fit your lifestyle. You can have the daily layout as you wish, I went for colored stripes at the top and middle, but you can opt for blank. Optional extras include a ruler and a blank plastic wallet for keeping bits in.
The Personal Planner’s come in a range of sizes. My one is the largest at A4 size. Prices start at £18.99 for the mini up to £39.99 for A4 including VAT and Shipping.
#EthicalHour
When you are a blogger you need to plan ahead for key events coming up. This is one area I need to improve on. To help me plan for this I will be using the Ethical Business Marketing Planner for helping me keep in check with key dates.
There you have my list of the best planner and diaries for 2018. I hope you find this post useful for choosing the right one for you.

I was adamant i would get a planner this year as my children bring home letters from school with events etc, then the doctors, dentist, etc, the babies appointments, and other important dates and I usually forget until last minute then have to rush to do things, anyway we are now in March and I still haven’t bought one, and am still forgetful, like today a friend messaged me about tomorrows school disco, its a good job she did as I had forgotten and would have had an unhappy 5 year old, although I’m sure she would have reminded me when she came out of school tomorrow lol xXx
