The Best Diaries and Planners For 2018

I’m a huge stationery fiend and a few weeks back I had a dilemma that I’m sure most bloggers have. What planner shall I get for the start of a brand new year? There are many great ones on the market to suit all budgets. Some are generic, others you can customise to your own requirements.

I have been on a little gathering trip hunting down diaries and planners to review for you. There are many available out there and this list is just a few of them.

Poundland Diaries

Poundland 2018 Diaries

At just £1 each these beautiful diaries are A5 size and perfect for out and about. They have many designs available.

The pages inside are basic and feel quite thin, but for £1 you couldn’t ask for more. You get plenty of writing space for each day, as you can see from the photo above. There is a year planner included at the front. At the back you have a cash account section to help you with your finances, an address book and some pages for note taking. Great value for the price.

The other product from Busy B is the perfect pocket To Do diary you can get. It contains a week to view, tear off list pages, reminder pages and also three handy pockets for bits and bobs. Lovely designed and on thick quality pages, it’s great to see you through the whole year.

Stigu

I have used a Stigu planner for the past couple of years. I love the idea behind it. It encourages you to rest with helpful little activities and become a well organised and skillful planner.

Stigu Planner 2018

It is everything in one book. A calendar, to-do pad, notebook, planner and of course a rest and zest handbook hosted by the character Stigu. Each month is a new theme to keep you inspired. I love the layout of the book, it just makes me smile. You can also get a funky sticker book to add to your planner to help you plan your day. The Stigu stickers come in a sweet little book containing all 350 stickers

Personal Planner

I have never designed my own planner before, so when Personal Planner got in contact, I was well excited to see what they had on offer. I couldn’t believe you can actually design every part of the planner. Everything from the front cover, to the layout colour and design to the starting month. What content you would like to be included as well as personal dates, maps, colouring pages, Sudoku puzzles and so much more. I can tell you I was like a kid in a sweet shop!

Personal Planner - Rachel's Blog Planner

Of course my planner is for my blog so what else could I call it other than Rachel’s Blog Planner!

I added a little to do checklist at the bottom plus a list of the week. There are many different things you can add to make it fit your lifestyle. You can have the daily layout as you wish, I went for colored stripes at the top and middle,  but you can opt for blank. Optional extras include a ruler and a blank plastic wallet for keeping bits in.

The Personal Planner’s come in a range of sizes. My one is the largest at A4 size. Prices start at £18.99 for the mini up to £39.99 for A4 including VAT and Shipping.

When you are a blogger you need to plan ahead for key events coming up. This is one area I need to improve on. To help me plan for this I will be using the Ethical Business Marketing Planner for helping me keep in check with key dates.

  1. I was adamant i would get a planner this year as my children bring home letters from school with events etc, then the doctors, dentist, etc, the babies appointments, and other important dates and I usually forget until last minute then have to rush to do things, anyway we are now in March and I still haven’t bought one, and am still forgetful, like today a friend messaged me about tomorrows school disco, its a good job she did as I had forgotten and would have had an unhappy 5 year old, although I’m sure she would have reminded me when she came out of school tomorrow lol xXx

  2. I don’t make resolutions as never keep them. Not having that expectation does allows me to make small changes as the year progresses.

  3. Im cutting back and getting fitter for my resolution this year its important as we are going to visit our new Grandson in April in Vietnam and i want to experience as much of the country and culture out there as i can

  4. Thanks for the opportunity! One of my new years promises to myself is I will get/become better organised so this would be fab!

  5. My new year resolution is to eat a healthier diet, but still allow myself some sweet treats in moderation (I do love chocolate)

  6. Continuar aprendiendo español y con suerte hacerlo bien! – Carry on learning Spanish and hopefully get it right! 🙂

  7. I do not have any special New Year Resolutions The past 4 years were spent on studying and development now I just plan to enjoy the rewards that brings.

  8. My new years resolution is to spend a bit more time doing sonething i love and learning a new skill this year. As my children are getting slightly older im getting thst little bit of time to try and do something i like. These planners would help me to get started with this actially making tine and writing it down for me.

  9. My new years resolution is to be more organised. It was going to be to give up crisps but I’m due to have a baby in June and it seems that crisps are now my craving!

  10. To become the best mum i can be for my baby due in April, after fertility treatment i feel like the luckiest woman in the world and want to do the best for my baby every year of their lives!

  11. I am going to make a lovely patchwork quilt – i have started and determined thisis one resolution that i will still to (much easier than giving something up)

  12. My New Years resolutions for this year is to get more decorating/jobs done in the house and one of these diaries would be perfect to keep a plan of my jobs to do/jobs completed

  13. Definitely I always try and make one or two new year resolutions! This year I aim to move house, to downsize and move to a property I love. At the same time I want to walk more and the two will work together, if I move where I hope to I will naturally be walking just that little bit more. So achieveable resolutions I’ve already got started!

  14. I’m hoping to start a blog, progress significantly on my fantasy novel, and lose at least a stone. Not much, eh?? hehe 😉

  15. I want to call (telephone) & visit family and friends more, and I’m going to do it by writing a daily to-do list! I would also like to drop two dress sizes, over 12 months, I aim to do this by having a lifestyle change, eating wiser, and doing a bit more each month! good luck all x

  16. I want to set aside more “me” time this year and enjoy working through the huge pile of books on my “to read” list.

  17. I have not set myself up with any resolutions as such because I never stick with them for more than a few adys, but I would like to try & keep the weight off that I lost last year & take forwards what I learned last year into this year & beyond xxx

  18. Eat less chocolate (that’s a difficult one – I love chocolate!!), and to walk more. I’d love to lose some weight over the next few months 🙂
Thanks for a super giveaway x

  19. To do more exercise! I would like to lose all the baby weight and get back to my desired size that would be amazing for me.

  20. I have to be honest and say I don’t ever make them. If I want to start something new or give up something then I tend to do it throughout the year when I feel ready to do it or the idea comes to mind.
