I have another review and giveaway for your today. This time it’s a brilliant book called Grace and Granny Rose which is for older children and I would say teens as well.

Book Description

Grace has a special relationship with her granny, they adore each other and spend time together regularly. As a curious teenager, she always has a pending question, to which her grandmother responds with her years of wisdom, offering Grace meaningful advice and inspiration. When Grace is asked about what she believes in, she thinks about her answer, understanding that it is an important question to deeply ponder. Beautifully illustrated, rhyming words and full of self-reflection. Grace and Granny Rose takes us on a journey of belief. In particular our own views and what we believe. Granny Rose teaches Grace to think for herself while reminding her of meaningful advice which will help her as she grows.

I love the way the author goes through the whole alphabet with an inspiring quote, affirmations and meaningful advice. It’s very inspiring to a young teen, building their confidence as they grow into adulthood. The most important message I’ve gathered from Grace and Granny Rose’s conversations is to believe in yourself. Stop and think, reflect and remember and you will flourish in life.

  9. What a wonderful message. I think it would resonate alot with my 12yr old and he could read it to his little sister would get him thinking while she is getting quality time with him x
