When I was small I loved my wooden jigsaw shape sorter, I got many hours of play from it. I think there is something special about wooden toys. So when we were asked to review a product sample from Sri Toys who specialise in wooden games and toys we couldn’t turn them down.
I was excited to see which toy we were given to look at. Arriving in the post was this gorgeous wooden alphabet snake in a lovely eco-friendly brown box.
Brightly coloured individual pieces with the letters of the alphabet on, perfect for little ones to start familiarise themselves with the letters and of course colours.
The educational benefit that Sri Toys bring to children is enormous.
Here are some of those benefits:
- Hand eye co-ordination
- Motor skills
- Visual awareness
- Role playing
- Independent or cooperative play
- Getting ready for school with reading writing and calculating skills
Baby girl likes to stack things at the moment and the wooden snake pieces are perfect for stacking as well! The alphabet snake is perfect for hand dexterity as well as learning the alphabet, on one side of the pieces you have the upper-case letters and the other side has the lower-case.
Each wooden piece is hand painted and smooth so no sharp edges or splinters to be seen! The pieces fit together in only one way and does so smoothly.
The wooden toys and playsets are made from natural, sustainable and biodegradable rubberwood by highly skilled craftsmen. It’s amazing to think that each piece is cut, sanded, sealed and painted all by hand in the factory, and you can tell this by each piece that it’s carefully made and of very high quality.
I’m giving the alphabet snake from Sri Toys 5 out of 5 stars.
I’m a huge fan of all different kinds of wooden toys, at Sri Toys you can find lots of educational toys and playsets as well as this wonderful alphabet snake. Why not pop over and take a look to see what they offer?
Are you a fan of wooden toys?
