It’s a right trip down sensory lane. The scents of the potions, the textures, from foamy to slimy and sticky and stretchy. The wonderful beads, sequins and jewels, the colours and more! It’s fantastic for motor skills development, creativity and imagination.

putting the slime into the bottles - Zuru Oosh Potions Slime Surprise

Everything is designed well, right down to the instruction sheet, which is a scroll. The instructions are clear to follow for children. We love the magic rhymes to say out loud!

As a parent when choosing toys, I look at the play factor and how long it will keep the children busy compared to the price. I can say truthfully that you get lots of play from just one potion bottle. It kept my daughter entertained all afternoon. She loved the mixing and pouring in of the additional sparkles and beads. The guessing of the scent of the slime. Getting the slime into the small potion bottles was great fun. Tip it goes in through the bottom of the bottle! Then you repeat it all over again with the second potion to make.

The Zuru Oosh Potions Slime Surprise gets a whopping 5 out of 5 stars from us!

  1. Hi Rachel, I don’t suppose you have any idea what the “seashell spell activator” actually is? My daughter accidentally spilt it and I was hoping I could replicate it somehow so she could still do that potion! It was quite watery so I was wondering if it was something simple!
