October 2021 Blogtober Tag!

It’s been years since I took back in a Blogtober Tag! When I first started blogging I used to do them all the time. It’s a great way for new bloggers to get “seen” and to build up their blog backlink profile. This year I thought why not give it a go again? I don’t write a whole lot of personal posts anymore – I know I should, but time is the enemy!!!

The lovely Jupiter from Life with Jupiter and Dann has come up with these questions for bloggers to answer in their posts, so you can get to know us a little better.

1. What is your favorite fall accessory?

In the Autumn/fall I love to get out my woolly hat. I always feel the cold quickly so keeping warm is a must! This picture is of me from a few years back now!

2. Where do you go to purchase new Halloween decorations / items?

I’m a huge fan of The Range, it’s where I recently got our Autumnal wreath for the front door. They always have such a huge range of Halloween bits and bobs and all at affordable prices. Their displays are always amazing!

3. What is one autumn tradition you have? 

Going out for hot chocolate. Finding a cute cafe and grabbing a hot chocolate while we go for a walk. It could be in the woods or on the beach!

4. What is your favorite Halloween Movie? 

The traditional first Halloween movie made in 1978. They don’t make films that scary anymore! Epic film!

5. What is one candy you’d hope to not see in your bag while trick-or-treating?

Not really sure – I love all sweets!

6. Pumpkin spice latte or hot chocolate? 

Tough choice! But it would be a black forest hot chocolate!

7. Coziest thing to wear as the weather gets colder?

Fluffy jumpers!

8. What is the coolest design you’ve ever carved or painted onto a pumpkin?

I’m not the creative type like that! Always go down the traditional route for pumpkin carving!

9. Do you prefer bonfires on an autumn evening or haunted houses once the sun is down?

Bonfires are the best, but always be mindful of hedgehogs and other animals around bonfires. As I’ve got older scary houses are much too scary for me now!!

10. What are you most excited for this autumn?

I love the darker evenings. The kids go to bed easier for one thing! Snuggled up on the sofa in the evenings with a good film or a book are the best. We also love to go on walks to the woods looking at the stunning autumnal colours!
