Welcome back to our little weekly round-up of Living Arrows 13/53 (2018). I’m enjoying getting into the routine of sharing a little bit of our life and how my gorgeous 2 year old is growing away so fast!
You can catch up on last week’s post here : Living Arrows 12/53.
The idea behind Living Arrows is to celebrate childhood. It’s name is taken from a poem by Kahlil Gibran,
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
I have noticed since I’ve been with baby girl all the time lately how much she is like a sponge. She absorbs everything! Her speech is now full on phrases, questions and more. I get asked a million times a day “What’s this?” Only today she is trying to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
All of this has shown me how much I have missed when I was at work. But she is really coming into her own now on the talking front. It’s a pleasure to have a full on conversation with her. I’ve been explaining to her about how she will become a big sister in 3 weeks and her job is to help mummy. I want to include her in everything so she doesn’t feel left out.
She loves her new comfy chair to sit back and relax in! I just had to take this picture!
Thanks for stopping by today.
It sounds like she is coming on in leaps and bounds – her personality must really be coming through! x
