It’s one of my favourite National weeks of the year, National Stationery Week! I know the kids have only now gone back to school for the Summer term, so all the Back To School stationery won’t be around for a few months yet. But when I was young getting all my stationery bits together was one of my highlights of school.

In fact only walking through a shop this week brought back the memories when I noticed in the pencil case section they had the Pepsi can shaped ones. I had one of these when I was like 13, some 22 years ago!
Having new school stationery shows great intentions and purpose for the school year. It gives you a real buzz, confidence and the feeling you can achieve anything this year. Nothing is impossible! Let’s be honest though, it’s also the time to show off to your mates your funky new pencil case and new pen that you hope no one else has got.
Making a list of essential stationery, in particular back to school stationery is a really good idea if you are on a budget. With everything else you need to buy like a uniform, books, and bags it can all mount up.
Checking out online stationery supplies is a winner. You can find some real gems on the internet. From blocks of post-it notes and pencils to pens and notebooks for only a matter of pence.
What do you include in your back to school list? Here is mine:

I always love shopping for new stationery ready for back to school!
As a stationery fan myself, mother of a stationery addict, and grandmother of stationery obsessive-in-training, I have to ask how you can miss out the following “essentials”:
fluffy pencil case,
scented erasers in cute shapes,
pencil toppers in cute designs, especially those with multicoloured hair like trolls, unicorns, etc.,
and lots of stickers to decorate all those boring school books and folders!
Loved hunting through Partners for new school supplies!
This brings back so many memories. Even though I don’t need any of these for “school”, I have a stationery drawer where everything I need is to hand.
Can never have too much stationary – Love your list
Fantastic list. Normally get a big list of things they need for school as well and half of it they dont use
Love buying stationery – always go to the works they have some great deals on pens, notebooks, folders etc!
Thank you for this – it is always helpful to have a list of necessities!
My daughters list gets longer each year
Dont think you missed a thing – hopefully i wont either
