Attipas Shoes Review and Giveaway

Baby girl’s feet are growing so fast. She is going through toddler shoes extremely quickly at the moment. Although I’m saving them now for baby number 2 to get lots more wear out of them. When we were asked by Attipas to try out their infant and toddler shoes we were a little bit excited. Due to the funky bright colours and designs the shoes come in I thought they were perfect to brighten up a dull Winter’s day. Read on for our Attipas review.

Attipas Toddler shoes Review

I’m a bit of a science buff and love reading all about the history of things and finding out how they came to be. Attipas has a load of fascinating facts about their products even down to their name.

Meaning of Attipas –  Atti (Korean for “my precious friend”) pas (french for “walk”)

Attipas then translates to “my precious friend’s steps” how adorable is that?

So what are Attipas shoes?

They are the world’s first combined indoor and outdoor functional shoe. Designed after 7 years of research at the Seoul State University’s MotorDevelopment Centre – they have been designed to encourage full and unobstructed growth and development of the foot and gait of a baby.

We have been trying them indoors this week as its freezing cold and icy outside. The one thing I like about them is that they are hard for baby girl to get off her feet. She won’t keep socks on at all inside! The Attipas shoes are perfect for her for running around the home. With the non-slip tread on the bottoms she cannot slip over on the kitchen floor.

The Attipas shoes are designed to feel like wearing socks but are much more supportive. They will correct a toddler’s walking habits by equally distributing foot pressure. The soles of the shoes are made from non-toxic rubber incase your little one decides to have a chew. Plus some models of the shoes are dyed with natural colourings, this range is called the Natural Herb range.

Our thoughts on the Attipas shoes

We got to review shoes from the rainbow range. In this range you can choose from green, white and yellow. We chose the yellow ones. Baby girl could not stop looking at her feet when I first put them on for her. They are extremely bright and funky. I love the rainbow socks!

Baby girl has big feet for age, mind you her dad has size 14 feet, so with her being about a size 8 we opted for the XXXL size. This size is the biggest in the Attipas range. They have a great sizing chart available on the website.

The shoes arrived in a beautifully presented box, which is semi clear so you are teased with a glimpse of what’s inside. It would make an ideal gift.

Before I put them on her feet I felt around inside the show to check how soft they were and I was very happy with them. They were soft and gave me confidence that they were going to be gentle on her feet. Also super lightweight!

She got up and walked around in them no problem. In fact after about a minute she took off running into the kitchen with them on. They are helping her balance and helping her to find her feet.

Attipas Toddler shoes Review

Attipas toddler shoes are a good investment for your little one’s feet. They are of high quality, seem very tough and durable and of course fun to look at. Even if they do remind me of clown feet!
