It’s been ages since Mr B and I went out together. Over the weekend we finally got a chance to put on some nice clothes and go and see a show at the newly refurbished Hall For Cornwall in Truro! It was closed for a few years for a major refurb, then Covid hit so it’s been a while! I must say it was worth the wait. It’s stunning! If you are going out at the weekend in Truro you must stop by and catch a show, they have got some great ones coming up! We have booked to take L at Christmas to see Treasure Island! Can’t wait for that one!

I will admit I’m terrible at buying clothes. I struggle to find what suits me, so I rarely bother to go clothes shopping. When Yours Clothing asked me if I would like to try out some of their latest range I thought why not? I’ve got tickets for a show in town, and wearing some new clothes would be great!

I love longer tops, they help me cover up my mum tum! I’m not into dresses. Normally I’m jeans and a t-shirt gal. There is a fabulous range and lots of choices for plus sizes on their site. I went for a striking aqua blue daisy swing vest top and a pair of cropped indigo blue jenny jeggings! They are amazing! I’m a size 20 although I wish to be back to a 16 when I met Mr B! They have an elasticated waistband which is lovely and snug but not too tight. Plenty of movement there! And best of all they don’t slip down!

To go with the daisy blue top which I went for in a size 20, I chose a curve grey checked waterfall jacket. I sized up to a 22 in this so it’s a little roomier. I’m glad I did, I love it! It has roll tab long sleeves which are perfect for cooler summer evenings. A great feature is the drawstring waist, which is perfect for flattering the waist. I need all help in that area!

Green is a colour I love wearing, it goes with redheads, right? I really love the pattern on this curve green floral print chain neckline cold shoulder top and the design. It will be great for an evening out in the Summer. The chain detailing is cute! I’ve yet to wear this top, but I’m sure I will soon!

One thing when I’m out is to always keep an eye on the time. Having an autistic daughter is hard at times as she isn’t good with changes. My mother in law is the only person we can leave her with and knows how to cope looking after her. It does mean that we can’t be away from her for very long. Having a reliable yet stylish watch is important to me so I can check the time. I’m a huge fan of Nordgreen watches. They are timeless in style and design. If you are on the lookout for a timeless watch check these collections of women’s watches from Nordgreen.

So if you are going out at the weekend in Truro, plan your time. Grab a bite to eat, shop, catch a show and then back to the gin bar!
