Family Diary

Hello! I’m back with the latest family diary and roundup for July 2024. It’s been a crazy month! As I’m writing this we are now in the first few days of the summer holidays. I’m hoping the weather will improve as July has been a proper washout so far and we love being out in the garden and out and about in beautiful Cornwall.

Last week we finally got Dottie’s autism diagnosis after 2 1/2 years. It’s been a long old wait but we are finally there. I’ve been working away on an Understanding Autism college course to help us know more about autism and how best we can support her. It’s been an eye-opener for sure!

L went on her first camp trip with the school. She had such an amazing time – came back very tired!

Mr B and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary with a rainy trip to the beach and Pizza!! Plus I took my latest favourite book Seven Summers by Paige Toon as it’s based in the cove where we went! Trevaunance Cove is the main beach near St Agnes. It’s a gorgeous little place even in the rain!
