Our Thoughts on The Sillyverse
The Sillyverse is full of nonsense, it will give you belly laughs for sure. Some of the poems are just a few lines and others much longer, but they are all silly! Fun little snippets that will give you a giggle, some rhyme, some don’t, some will leave you thinking ugh? Best of all they are a play on words!

I think my favourites are the ones based on nursery rhymes we all know. As an example the one called A Little Lamb. The rhyme goes Mary had a little lamb it’s fleece as white as snow. That part we all know don’t we? But then it finishes with why it was in her stomach I guess we’ll never know. It’s a great take on playing with the words, stating the obvious in fact.

The illustrations are well drawn and have that playful nature to fit the poems. I can imagine the authors had hours of fun creating this book! Thanks for sharing it with us, I’ve enjoyed being in on the jokes!
I would highly recommend this book for kids, around 6 years plus. It contains over 130 pages of hilarious poems, that will keep you going for a while!
