Now baby girl is 16 months old she is really taking an interest in what books are, she enjoys turning the pages and listening to my voice as I’m reading to her.

Jungle Jam in Brazil is perfect for this with its rhyming phrases and wonderful words.

Jungle Jam in Brazil

Our Review

The one thing I love about Jungle Jam in Brazil, is the use of authentic words and phrases to describe the culture of Brazil. Learning about this is new for me as well as baby girl so we are learning together.

The illustrations are vivid and sharp, great for catching the eyes of little ones. Rhyming phrases keep the books rhythm going throughout the book.

I enjoyed the underlying messages put across through the book about teamwork, and how important it is to help one another out.  The team look after Gina when she feels anxious and is scared of the sea and to try a new instrument. They encourage her and help her along. Great messages to help teach kids about helping others.

Like the first Jungle Jam book, this one also contains an activities page, a great idea to make the book even more interactive. Such a nice touch to the end of the book.
