With half-term coming up in a couple of weeks as well as Halloween, you might be wondering where to take the kids for a day out? Well, I have a great idea if you are in the Norfolk area, and that is to have some Halloween fun at Great Yarmouth’s Pleasure Beach! Here is a little more info on what is on offer.
Great Yarmouth’s famous Pleasure Beach is bringing back its award-winning Halloween event, Fairground Frights for 2021! I wish I lived closer to go and see this! It sounds like an amazing experience!

Fairground Frights at Great Yarmouth’s Pleasure Beach
Fairground Frights was launched last year. It won a European award for the best scare entertainment at the annual ScareCON awards. How cool is that? There are five nights of fearsome entertainment featuring ghoulishly costumed actors, spooky surprises, scares, and projections starting from Wednesday 27th October until Sunday 31st October. I’ve heard that there will be live actors roaming Pleasure Beach!
The Fairground Frights Halloween event will begin at 5 pm and finish at 8 pm. If I was you I would arrive early so you don’t miss any of it!
If you go on the opening night there is a free firework display at the conclusion of the first Fairground Fright Night event on Wednesday 27th October. Don’t forget to book your tickets!
Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach has amazing high octane rides and traditional attractions. It sits at the top of Great Yarmouth’s famous Golden Mile.
Each of the attraction’s 25 fun-filled rides from the Sky Drop to Fun Factory and the roller coaster to a Haunted House as well as the log flume and the Snails and Fairy Tales ride will feature in the special Halloween nights.
Details: The event costs £19.50 per person for unlimited access to all rides and attractions (height restrictions apply) for three hours and is suitable for ages 10 and over due to its scary nature! The Park will also be open for daytime fun from 23rd October to 31st October from 12-4 pm, with tickets costing £13.50 per person. This is ideal for the younger children to explore and have fun!
