Caravans Vs Motorhomes UK Guide – which is the one for you?

*AD – sponsored by Bailey of Bristol

Living in Cornwall has its benefits, but we do love to explore more of the UK. My husband’s family live in Derbyshire, so trips to the Peak District are a given and so much fun to explore.

We are thinking about going even further away up to Scotland. I’ve heard many stories from my older sister, who lived in Scotland island hopping for a while. She visited places like the Isle of Skye and the remote Isle of Rum, and places like this appeal to us. In fact, we’ve been already browsing the motorhome campsites Scotland has to offer for ideas for the future! But, of course, being an outdoorsy family, caravans and motorhomes are the way to go for us.

Therefore I’m interested in taking a look into some of the ranges that Bailey of Bristol offer to see what might be suitable for our family travels. When it comes to caravans vs motorhomes, UK buyers have lots of options – let’s look at some of the benefits of both and a couple of the ranges from Bailey of Bristol.

Caravans Vs Motorhomes UK Guide - which is the one for you?

The benefits of buying a Bailey of Bristol motorhome or caravan

Having a young family means we need space in our caravan or motorhome to live comfortably on holiday. We also need reliability. If it rains, we need space for indoor activities and space for sleeping arrangements, so we are all not in the same bed! Both the Bailey of Bristol motorhomes and caravans can give us these things we need for a fun and safe holiday. High specifications, superb value for money and no hidden extras are a part of Bailey’s principles.

There are various ranges of caravans and motorhomes to fit your budget and size requirements. Plus, if you are heading to any small campsites Scotland might have, or anywhere else in the UK, you may need to think practically of the size of your motorhome and small lanes! If you are heading down here, these are the best touring caravan sites in Cornwall to explore in my opinion!

Owning a Bailey of Bristol motorhome is a life goal for us. Travelling to all the UK campsites Scotland can offer in our motorhome is the dream! I really like the layout of the Adamo range, especially the Adamo 69-4. It has 4 travel seats, a flexi-lounge that configures to meet living and travelling needs and a fully equipped kitchen, with a 3-ring gas hob, hot plate, separate grill and oven and a large sink, you really couldn’t ask for more.

If your budget doesn’t quite stretch to a motorhome, then there are plenty of caravan options for you. I particularly like the Pegasus Grande SE range. The models in this range sleep between four and six comfortably, and they come in a range of layouts to suit your lifestyle. I love all the storage space to fit the kid’s stuff and the Thetford dual-fuel hob with an electric hotplate and three gas burners. It can be expensive to eat out all the time, so fantastic cooking facilities in a caravan is a must for me. The colour scheme and luxurious feel to the Pegasus Grande SE range just tops off the whole experience of travelling in style.
