Ricky’s House Playset and Ricky Zoom Family Pack Review | AD

*AD/Gifted – We were compensated and received the Ricky Zoom Playset and Family Pack in exchange for this post

We are huge Ricky Zoom fans! Last year we shared with you all you need to know about Ricky Zoom, and now we are back with a review of Ricky’s House Playset and his family. If you are wondering who is Ricky Zoom, here is a quick recap.

So Ricky Zoom is a CGI movie-style preschool series from Entertainment One. Ricky is a cute red rescue bike who shares his experiences with his friends – Loop, Scootio and DJ. They love nothing but racing around the sports track, trying out new stunts at the park and zooming into every adventure. His family are the Zoom’s. Toot is Ricky’s cheeky little sister. Hank and Helen are Ricky’s parents who are Wheelford’s (the town) leading rescue bikes. They are daring and brave and the first to respond to any emergency. Family is very important to Ricky Zoom. His parents like the resourcefulness and resilience of the buddies when they get together. They enjoy seeing them think through and resolve their own problems whilst knowing there is a supportive community on hand to help if need be.

Ricky Zoom - Ricky's House Playset

Ricky’s House Playset

Ricky’s House Playset is the home of the Zoom family, it’s the heart of the show. The playset is jam-packed with 10 exciting features to initiate creativity and role-playing. There is a little assembly required which the girls loved to get involved in with their dad.

Putting the Ricky Zoom House Playset Together
Ricky's House Playset - Set up

It’s a 3D playset with features all around the set including the 3 multiple ramps for the Zoom’s to ride down. There is also a tyre check station and an elevator to go up and down the floors. The orange button for the elevator also activates the sounds and Ricky’s theme song. Ricky and his family will ride over the button to open the elevator doors.

As Ricky’s home is Wheelford’s Rescue Headquarters for the town it’s an important building. So at the top, you have a rotating lookout platform.

Playing with Ricky's House Playset

On the next floor down is the fold-away Gear-up Rescue Station. It’s a handy area for storing the included accessories to get the motorcycles ready for action.

The bike launcher on the ground floor that speeds Ricky on to his next adventure is great fun and our favourite feature.

We love the telescope on top of the playset. It gets kids involved to have a look around and see if there is a rescue alert. Included in the set you get your own 3 inch Ricky Zoom. To bump up the bike characters to play with I would recommend buying the Family Pack as shown below.

Playing with Ricky's House Playset

Our overall thoughts is that Ricky’s House Playset is a whole lot of action and fun. It’s big enough for the whole family to play together. With lots of features and sounds, it keeps the children’s attention for longer and therefore we are getting lots of play time from it. As a parent a toy has to have that wow factor, helps with exploring creativity and forward thinking, will let me join in! and of course keeps them occupied. Ricky’s House Playset definitely has this. It would make a fantastic birthday or Christmas gift.

Ricky Zoom Family Pack – Meet the Zooms!

The Ricky Zoom Family Pack is an ideal accompaniment to the house playset. The pack includes Ricky Zoom, sister Toot, Mum Helen, and Dad Hank.

The Zoom Family Pack

It’s a brilliant pack of the Zoom rescue family free-rolling action bikes all in one place ready for imaginative play. They have expertly designed tyres, that have no problem standing when still. The front wheels feature articulated movements so they can steer left or right whichever way you wish them to point. All the family has attachment points for accessories on the back of the bikes. Featuring designs you won’t find in other multi-packs.

Thinking Ahead…

With Christmas approaching, it’s always great to think about those that are less fortunate than ourselves. So Ricky Zoom is supporting leading children’s charity Barnardos this Christmas with its Barnardo’s Kidsmas Toddle with Ricky Zoom. There is nothing more incredible than children helping to support other children who need their help. Visit https://www.barnardos.org.uk/bigtoddle for more details on this fun event.

Don’t forget you can watch Ricky Zoom weekdays at 7.40 am on Milkshake!
