We are huge fans of Orchard Toys and have been for many years, I loved the games as a kid! They are simple, yet thoroughly enjoyable for youngsters. We were kindly sent a lovely bundle to explore and share our thoughts.
The Orchard Toys games and puzzles are perfect for getting the family together for learning fun. They are great for parents to help support their child’s development of specific skills. Such as discussion, hand-eye coordination, matching & memory skills, observational skills, personal & social skills, colour & counting skills.

In our bundle we received:
- Farmyard Heads & Tails / 18mths+
- Dirty Dinos / 3yrs+
- Post Box Game / 2yrs+
- Mummy and Baby 2-piece jigsaw / 18mths+
- Old Macdonald Lotto / 2yrs+

Post Box Game
The Post Box game is a firm favourite. It’s great fun and a fantastic first colour matching game. So the aim is to post the letter’s into the correct matching post boxes. It can be played as a single-player or multiplayer up to 4. Post Box is designed to develop hand-eye coordination, and promote colour recognition.

The girls loved making up the 3D post boxes and posting the letters. All game pieces are made of sturdy thick bright card which you can wipe clean. The letters are double-sided with hilarious made-up addresses, to give the adults a laugh and for first reading!
Dirty Dinos
Dirty Dinos was great fun for us all to play. You get a load of dirty dinosaurs and the aim is to fill your bathtub with clean dinosaurs in this colour and counting game with 3 different ways to play.

Spread the cards in the middle of the table, spin the spinner and race to find a dirty dino that matches by colour and type. Once everyone has a tub full of clean dinos, count the number of bubbles…the player with the most wins the game!
It’s perfect for improving observation skills as well as numbers and colours. It’s suitable for ages 3-6 years and 2-4 players.
