Dominos is such a fun game to play! We were sent the Mexican Train Dominoes to have a look at. I must say I was impressed with the packaging. It arrived in the usual card and ribbon box which Jaques of London is known for and then the dominoes game is wonderfully presented in a tin box. It’s fabulous for keeping the domino pieces safe when not in use.
My 5 year old loves dominoes. Over the past year at school, she has used dominoes in her maths. She has come home with homework on adding up dominoes and it has really encouraged her love of maths to come through.
This Mexican Train Game Set comes with detailed instructions on how to play as well as the train game pieces. It’s a really interesting game to improve your dominoes knowledge further. We have found it lots of fun to play!

Kids Learning Clock
One thing that my 5 year old keeps asking me is the time. She tries her hardest with learning it but gets stuck on the quarter past and quarter to times. So this colourful wooden kids learning clock is going to be ideal for us to crack telling the time!
The learning clock is suitable for ages 3+ and has numerous educational benefits. Plus its great fun to look at! There are multiple numbered 1-12 wooden shapes which fit in a specific slot on the clock face. So it’s a shape sorter also! The clock face has the 5 minute time intervals to get into the basics of learning to tell the time.
The numbers on the shapes are clear to see enabling recognition of numbers and their position on the clock face. On the other side of the shape is a picture of an animal – great to learn a variety of animals. We love this addition to the clock. Plus in the shape slot are images of plants/animals that the animal on the wooden shape eats. Great for learning about food chains. Also included with the learning clock is a threading activity, perfect for improving fine motor skills. It makes the learning clock one of the ideal toys for 4 year olds for Christmas this year!
