4 Month Baby Review

Baby girl has reached the 4 month old mark. Where has that time gone?
I can still vividly remember that freezing cold Tuesday in February bringing her home.
This is her 4 month baby review of things I have observed and experienced.
Baby Review -4 months

You probably realise by now that I don’t post pictures of her on here because I want to protect her from the online world that is out there. I know a lot of bloggers are fine with posting photos of their little ones but at this moment I feel as if I need to protect her from it. I would hate for her to get teased when she’s older by other kids that have found her mums blog with all her embarrassing baby photos. You know what kids are like.
She is turning into a gorgeous little lady and growing before our very eyes. Each day she is developing and learning something new.
One of her favourite shows to watch is Doc McStuffins and when the fix you up song comes on it really grabs her attention!
I was breastfeeding her yesterday and when that song came on she whipped herself off my boob and turned her head towards the TV smiling away. It was one of those precious moments.
Before the Doc McStuffins moment we had to go and see the nurse for her last set of immunisations. I was holding her on my knee in the waiting room and she really surprised me by calling out in her own words to the kids playing on the floor. She was laughing and cooing away not forgetting drooling down her chin!
I just thought to myself, you poor little sweet baby you just don’t know what’s coming.

I pulled her little trousers down a bit and the nurse gave her two injections in one thigh then the Meningitis B vaccine in the other. She just screamed like a banshee. Worse than the other two previous occasions.Bless her, tears rolling down her face, hugging tightly into my chest. It made me feel sick. At least it’s over now until she’s 1 year old, where the polite nurse informed me there’s 4 injections!

Baby girl is really good at her tummy time. She holds her head up. Her little legs kicking away. But she is still yet to turn over. I feel this could happen any day.
Ha ha.
I’ve been saying it for a few weeks now and what does she do last evening?
Yep turned right over in front of our eyes!

I am sure there will be no stopping her now.

  1. Happy 4 months! Feels like ages ago but at the same time it has flown. Our little man has just started taking a few steps and every milestone is as exciting as the last 🙂 #KCACOLS

  2. Ah so sweet, I love those firsts especially when they're unexpected like that and just happen. The immunisations are just the pits 🙁 poor little pets. #KCACOLS

  3. I barely remember mine as 4 month old school. My children are 5 & 9 obsessed with minecraft and moaning about homework. Your daughter looks like a little cutie so nice to have a living document to look back on. #kcacols lifeinthemumslane

  4. Aww this is lovely Rachel – she seems to be doing brilliantly! We just had our 13 month injections and it was awful too (mostly for mummy, E forgot all about it when she saw I had biscuits) – such a shock for the little ones. Yay to rolling over too, she'll be unstoppable now, it's so exciting xx #triballove

  5. Happy 4 months! It does go so quickly! I can remember bringing Mini home like it was yesterday and it's been over a year already! She was a February baby too, and was learning to roll this time last year!
