We are here now in September. I hate to say it but Summer is coming to an end. In fact just this past weekend while out shopping the shops seem to be stocking Christmas items already. Mind you I could eat stollen and Christmas cake all year around. Plus next month in October I always start making my Christmas cake. Anyway back to my point of this post. I really enjoyed sharing with you my Spring Summer fashion trends for 2018, and now I’m back sharing the Autumn Winter 2018 2019 fashion trends.
I remember saving up for my first car. It’s a big thing when you have passed your driving test and find it’s time to get a car. Cars can be expensive, bottomless pits for money. I should know! There are always some unknown expenses that ruin your car’s budget. My second car was I suppose effectively known as a lemon. There was always something going wrong with it.
I loved my blue Citroen C3 she was an exclusive demonstrators model so had every optional extra you could find for the age of that car. She, well I always called her my baby blue car, had front arm rests, built-in sat nav and an extra parcel shelf so the boot had two levels. For a 2003 car it was top of the range.
I suppose being a top of the range ex demonstrator model was a blessing and a curse. The thing was with it having extras, the engine and other parts around the body were different to the “normal” C3 model and when it went wrong the garages found it hard to get replacement parts.
This past week we have been reading Cute a Doodle Doo by Julie Flanighan. In fact most days we have read it twice before bed time. Reading is one of my favourite hobbies and now I’m sure baby girl loves it as well. It makes me smile when she brings her favourite books to me for storytime. She loves to turn the pages and point out what she knows on the pages. For this book it was the animals, the pig, cow and chicken (although it’s actually a cockerel).
Yesterday I reviewed the Gel-A-Peel Colour Change Kit, now today I’m back with the Nail-a-Peel Deluxe Colour Kit. This kit brings a whole new meaning to 3D nail art. Nail-a-Peel is the coolest, craftiest product promising sparkle, glitter and amazing colours. Nail-a-Peel offers fans a new way to paint and create their nails by designing in 3D, taking the in-home mani/pedi experience to a whole new level.
As with yesterday’s Gel-A-Peel you also have the chance to win a Deluxe Nail-A-Peel kit as well at the bottom of this post. But first here is what’s included in the kit and what I thought about it.
THE ULTIMATE 3D NAIL EXPERIENCE WITH NAIL-A-PEEL
Who knew that crafting and fashion would be the ultimate combination for budding fashionistas. Well thanks to Gel-A-Peel this dream can come true for kids. Gel-A-Peel gives you everything you need to design and create your own jewellery.
I was sent the Gel-A-Peel Colour Change Kit to try out. It’s suitable for ages 8+ due to the nature of the gel product. You also have the chance to win the kit for yourself at the end of this post.
DESIGN, PEEL, WEAR & SHARE WITH GEL-A-PEEL
Last month you may have remembered me saying that my mum is getting her old miner’s cottage renovated, well here is the second update on this. So as you know we have had the new double glazed windows installed, and the bathroom designer came out.
Well, we are still waiting on the installation guy to pop round for the final arrangements but due to the lovely weather it seems everyone is having new bathrooms installed!
