If you’ve got little PAW Patrol fans at home (or if you secretly enjoy watching it too – no judgement!), the brand new PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship game is about to race into your family gaming time in a big way. Outright Games and Nickelodeon have taken the pups to a whole new level for 2025… monster truck level!

Yes, for the first time ever, the PAW Patrol crew are swapping their usual rescue vehicles for big, bouncy, turbo-powered monster trucks – and honestly? It’s adorable, chaotic, and surprisingly fun for grown-ups too. Come on and read our PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship Review, see what you think!

What’s the Game All About?
The game lets players race through familiar locations from the show: Adventure Bay, the Mountain, Foggy Bottom, and more. There are 12 colourful tracks and 3 arena-style locations to explore, with plenty of ramps, loops, boosts, and tricks to keep kids entertained.

You can race as fan favourites like Chase, Skye, and Marshall, but the big news is that Roxi, Boomer, and even the mischievous Mayor Humdinger are playable for the very first time. We thought this was absolutely amazing – because what’s a race without a little drama?

Monster Trucks + PAW Patrol = Big Fun
Each pup’s truck has its own little personality and special ability, and players can perform mid-air stunts, unlock signature moves, and grab Pup Treats to win extra boosts. You don’t have to be good at racing games to enjoy it! I’m not the best, that’s for sure! But the game is very forgiving, designed for ages 3+, and has really simple controls that younger players can actually manage on their own.
But don’t be fooled – older siblings (or ahem parents) won’t get bored. There are different modes, like Pup Cup tournaments and a fun new Arena mode where the goal isn’t to race, but to explore and collect. It’s very much a “play how you like” kind of game, which keeps things from getting repetitive.

Perfect for Family Gaming Time
One of the highlights for us was the local co-op mode, so siblings (or parents!) can join in at the same time. No taking turns, no arguments – just chaotic pup-powered racing. It’s the kind of game where even if you lose, you’re still smiling, because someone just launched off a ramp and did three flips by accident! It’s so much fun for the whole family to enjoy.

And importantly, the game stays fully true to the PAW Patrol world. Same visual style, same character voices, and the same upbeat energy you’d expect from the TV show. Kids step into the world they already know, which makes it super engaging.
Who This Game Is Best For
- Kids aged 3 – 8
- PAW Patrol-obsessed households!
- Families looking for a non-frustrating first racing game
- Parents who want something that everyone can play together
Not really ideal for: Teens looking for Mario Kart–level racing competitiveness (but they might still secretly enjoy it)!!
Our Final Thoughts
PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship is exactly what a PAW Patrol game should be – bright, easy to play, and packed with fun, familiar characters. The monster truck twist gives the franchise something fresh, and the game strikes the perfect balance between being accessible for little ones while still giving older players enough to do.
If you’re looking for a new game to wrap up for Christmas, or just need something rainy-day friendly, this one is a winner. No mission is too big, no racer too small!
