We love to go out for walks and have a day out around our favourite place Malpas, Truro down here in Cornwall. So when we were invited to take part with the Aldi #MamiaDaysOut challenge we knew exactly where we were going to go for a little picnic.
On Friday the sun was shining and the blue sky was out so we decided to go for a little picnic before our Baby Sensory class. Although it was fairly cold, well I suppose it is Autumn, it was a gorgeous day.
The tide was out on the river so all the mud flats were showing. This is our favourite view looking up towards Truro cathedral.
We love to sit on this bench and have our lunch. It’s really spectacular when the tide is in because you can see lots of wildlife. Many types of birds as well as the stunning white swans. On particular days you will catch the canoes going up and down their courses and the boats out and about.
Here is baby girl ready for her day out with her woolly hat and cardi on.
This is our hamper we received from Aldi for our #MamiaDaysOut challenge plus a few added bits!
I popped into our local Aldi to buy baby girl’s size 4 nappies earlier in the week and came across their baby and toddler SpecialBuy event which they put on three times a year. I saw this cute little lion rein’s backpack and had to buy it. It’s going to be a while before baby girl can use it but I couldn’t resist picking it up. I’m now prepared for when she starts walking. I also added her little red I love Milk gloves and her other woolly hat her Grandma made for her.
I have been an Aldi fan for years, long before becoming a parent. So I was eager to try out their Mamia 100% organic baby food range. Aldi developed this range in response to the needs of real mums and dads. I love the fact that prices start at just only 59p so affordable yet still getting that organic quality.
Baby girl’s favourite is the bananas and apples fruit pouches at 59p. They have no added sugar, thickeners or preservatives. Perfect for on the go adventures as well as at home!
The rice cakes in either apple or raspberry flavours are great snacks and with them being at 69p you won’t mind if most of them end up on the floor!
We had a lovely day out at Malpas while eating out snacks from the Mamia range.
Have you tried out any of the Mamia rage from Aldi? Which do you think will be your child’s favourite?
