Living Arrows 29/53 (2018)

Welcome back to our little weekly round-up of Living Arrows 29/53 (2018). I’m enjoying getting into the routine of sharing a little bit of our life and how my gorgeous 2 year old is growing away so fast along with the new baby!

You can catch up on my last post here: Living Arrows 26/53.

The idea behind Living Arrows is to celebrate childhood. It’s name is taken from a poem by Kahlil Gibran,

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

It’s been a few weeks since you have caught up with our last Living Arrows post. Life is so busy with a 13 week old and a 29 month old. I survive on little sleep! So what have we been up to? Well with the gorgeous weather we have been going for walks along the beach 10 minutes from us. Heading down to the park across from us for lots of fun play. Most days it’s just us there, but I’m sure it will change once the older children in our area are out from school.

We enjoy going to a couple of toddler groups where baby girl runs riot of course! Now I have baby dottie I have to let her go at times I just can’t be in two places at once.

As you can see in the photo above we have finally got her to tie her hair up. Which in this hot weather is a good thing as she was getting very sweaty around her neck. With the hot and sometimes humid weather her hair gets really curly and frizzy – not quite Monica from Friends frizzy! but a total mess! Let me know if you have any tips for dealing with curly hair as I’m not used to it!

Now more gorgeous baby dottie has her second set of injections this week, bless her. She is getting much better with the colic and reflux now, thank goodness. Her core strength is very strong and she’s practically sitting up now! No idea how she’s been here 13 weeks now. It’s very true that they say they are not babies for long.

I hope you have had a good week.

Thanks for stopping by today.

  1. I remember the fun of going ANYWHERE with two. I used to try and find soft play places with an enclosed younger bit that was still big enough for Athena to enjoy by herself. It was never easy! x
