Living Arrows 2/53 (2018)

Welcome back to my second Living Arrows 2/53 post of 2018. As Donna pointed out there are actually 53 Mondays in 2018, so it’s now out of 53! It was exciting to join Living Arrows last week, to read about what other bloggers get up to with their little ones. I’m sure my posts will pale in comparison. I do wish I had more time to get out and about with baby girl, but being a working mum it’s hard at the moment.

The idea behind Living Arrows is to celebrate childhood. It’s name is taken from a poem by Kahlil Gibran,

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Well this week, we have seen a huge development in baby girl’s talking. She has come out with all kinds of words and phrases.

“Car keys”

“There you go”

“I’m OK! You Ok?”

Her counting has come on loads as well. She spots numbers really well. My husband has a number 9 on his tracksuit bottoms and she pointed to it going “nine”. She has turned 23 months old this week and I think she is advanced for her age, I suppose I’m biased though! My mum says with her being born 14 days late she developed loads more in my tummy!

Yesterday she learnt the word “nana” when we we talking about bananas. The “B” is still a little hard for her to pronounce at the moment. She really is a little sponge soaking up words and phrases all the time.

I wonder what she will come out with next?

Thanks for stopping by today.

It’s such a lovely time when they’re learning new words. They grow up so quickly

Aw, she is SO cute!! ^_^ I think girls tend to be more precocious than boys – my daughter was talking at one and the boys were much later! 😉 ALSO she was good with potty training – hope it’s the same for you! 😀
