December is here! Yes, we are well and truly into the Christmas season now. My favourite time of year. For a few weeks now I’ve been itching to dig out the decorations and get the tree up. But for now the tree will have to wait until the weekend.
It hasn’t stopped me doing a some Christmas decorating in my little workspace!
Debenhams kindly set me the challenge of sprucing up my workspace with Christmassy things. Yay!
My first spot was these gorgeous little snowflake LED lights. They are very pretty and just lifted the area into a sparkle zone. The lights take 3 AA batteries so no need to worry if there are no plug sockets nearby. I think they make a lovely bunting like decoration even if the lights are not switched on.
I have always wanted a wooden advent calendar since forever. When I spotted this bright colourful red wooden calendar I knew it would be perfect for my workspace. I can make sure I open it first before I start my work for the day! I have already filled it with chocolate Santa’s coins and chocolate balls.
This little fella just makes me smile. He is made of metal and just bounces away all day long. Debenhams also do a bouncing penguin as well but I had to choose the snowman.
I have been a fan of snow globes for as long as I can remember. There is something very magical about them. This one from Debenhams is beautiful. It’s also a musical globe that you can wind up from the bottom. The scene is reindeer’s underneath the Christmas trees. The globe is very heavy so has a quality feel about it. I know this one will last us many years to come.
Nothing beats the fresh smell of frosted pine. I’m a huge fan of a reed diffuser, as well as a constant smell they are much prettier to look at than ordinary plastic air freshners. This one brings a crisp Christmassy winter smell to the home.
No Christmas working space is complete unless it has a little tree. I chose this adorable metal jingle bells mini tree as shown in the photo above. It’s modern, cute and funky.
Have you transformed your working space? Or just generally decorated the whole house?! I would love to hear what you have done or plan to do.
