SquareMeal Rewards: How It Works + How to Collect Points

Ad| If you love eating out (or you just love getting a little something back when you do), you’ll want to know about SquareMeal Rewards.

I’m all for little wins that make life feel a bit more affordable, and a bit more fun – and a restaurant reward programme is one of those things that can quietly add up over time.

SquareMeal Rewards: How It Works + How to Collect Points

In this post, I’ll walk you through how SquareMeal Rewards work, how to collect points, and how to make the most of the programme. If you want to jump straight in, you can sign up here.

So, What is SquareMeal Rewards?

SquareMeal Rewards is SquareMeal’s restaurant reward programme. In simple terms, you can earn points when you book and dine at participating restaurants, then use those points to claim rewards.

If you’re the kind of person who already checks reviews, looks up menus, and plans ahead (hello, that’s me), it’s a really easy add-on, because you’re doing the booking anyway.

How SquareMeal Rewards work (the simple version)

Here’s the basic idea:

1.      Sign up to SquareMeal Rewards

2.      Book a restaurant through SquareMeal (with rewards available)

3.      Dine (the important bit!)

4.      Earn reward points

5.      Redeem points for rewards when you’ve collected enough

It’s one of those programmes that feels almost too easy because it fits into what you’re already doing!

SquareMeal Rewards: How It Works + How to Collect Points (UK Restaurant Rewards Guide)

How to collect points with SquareMeal Rewards

To collect points, you generally need to:

  • Be logged into your SquareMeal Rewards account
  • Make an eligible booking through SquareMeal
  • Follow any booking requirements shown on the rewards page
  • Actually dine at the restaurant (points are for completed visits!)

A quick tip: when you’re booking, keep an eye out for restaurants that are part of the programme and make notes about how the points are awarded.

What can you get with the reward points?

This is the fun part. Once you’ve built up your points, you can exchange them for rewards.

Rewards can include things like restaurant vouchers (and similar perks), gadgets, and cookware from loved and trusted brands such as Le Creuset, Smeg, Nespresso and KitchenAid, along with some hidden gems from independent designers. It’s worth checking what’s currently available on the SquareMeal Rewards page because options can change.

If you’re someone who likes a little treat without the guilt, this can feel like a nice “bonus” for meals you were going to have anyway.

Why I like this restaurant rewards programme (especially if you’re a busy person!)

If you’re juggling family life, work, school runs, and the never-ending list of life admin, you don’t always have time to chase deals. I know I don’t!

A reward programme like this is more “set it and forget it”:

  • You sign up once
  • You book as normal
  • You collect points in the background
  • You redeem when it suits you

No faff.

Tips to make the most of SquareMeal Rewards

A few simple ways to get more out of it:

  • Check the rewards page before you book so you know which restaurants are eligible
  • Plan ahead for birthdays, date nights, and catch-ups – those meals can earn points too!
  • Keep an eye on restaurant vouchers and rewards so you can redeem at the right time
  • Stick with it – reward points often feel slow at first, then suddenly you’ve got enough for something decent

Are SquareMeal Rewards worth it?

If you dine out even occasionally and you’re happy to book through SquareMeal, then yes – SquareMeal Rewards is worth a look.

It’s free to explore, it’s straightforward, and it’s a nice way to get rewarded for something that already brings a bit of joy!

Ready to sign up?

If you want to see exactly how it works and what rewards are available right now, head over to SquareMeal Rewards.

If you do sign up, let me know in the comments! I always love hearing where people are booking and which restaurants you’d recommend.

  1. Visit the SquareMeal Rewards website.
  2. Browse the rewards restaurants and pick one local to you that you’d love to try

Good luck! And if you find somewhere amazing, I’d love to know what you picked (I’m always on the lookout for new foodie spots!).
