Here we are in October, this month baby dottie turns 6 months old, and I still have not lost much of my baby weight. I’m not overly bothered by that because I’m still breastfeeding and awake countless times throughout the night. I need to eat to keep my energy up otherwise I feel faint. Mind you looking back at photos at the same point after having baby girl I’m much thinner. I guess having two babies in two and a half years takes its toll on your body making it much harder to lose the baby weight.
When Pink Clove recently got in touch asking if I would like a couple of items for my Autumn wardrobe, I thought why not? This tired momma deserves some new bits for Autumn.
So here are a few pictures of a wardrobe for stay at home mom.
First up is my pink pineapple plus size jackets at Pink Clove. I’m always out and about and so was looking for something functional, light and showerproof. For my mum’s Autumn fashion wardrobe, a waterproof jacket is a must. Great for popping out to the shops and for the school run.
I’m in love with my new plus size floral print wrap dress. I only gave birth 5 months ago, so this dress with its frilly parts is great for hiding my mum tum. With it being a low-cut v neck style it does make it easier to breastfeed as well. The tie around the waist helps to bring the dress into a more flattering shape, and with it being black you can dress it up for going out or team with long boots for a more relaxed look. Which being honest is more my look nowadays!
My dress is in a size 22, I’m normally a size 20 up top and an 18 at the bottom, but went for a 22 as my boobs are much fuller at the moment from breastfeeding. I’m glad I went for the size 22 for the extra room. It’s a lovely comfy wrap dress that’s great for Autumn/Winter as its fairly thick. It comes in sizes 16-24.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have enjoyed this post.
Are you a fan of wrap dresses? What are your style tips for a mum’s Autumn fashion wardrobe?
