My Top 10 Favourite Songs Of All Time

I haven’t written about the types of music I like on here before. In fact I’m a huge lover of music and always singing away, whether it’s in the shower, while I’m doing the ironing or in the car! So I decided to compile a list of my all time top 10 favourite song’s.

My Top 10 Favourite Songs

These songs I have loved for years, I’m not into the new songs that you hear on the radio lately with all that dance stuff, maybe I’m showing my age!

  1. Love in the first degree – Bananarama
  2. Chasing Cars – Snow Patrol
  3. Run – Snow Patrol
  4. Drive By – Train
  5. Afterlife – Avenged Sevenfold
  6. The Man Who Can’t Be Moved – The Script
  7. Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) – Kelly Clarkson
  8. Somebody That I Used To Know – Gotye
  9. Counting Stars – One Republic
  10. Kiss From A Rose – Seal

My Playlist

I have had this playlist for years, they are my feel good songs! I play them in the car and through my headphones (not quite so much as I used to now that I have baby girl). You can get lots of CD’s from HMV  really reasonable nowadays, compilations are a favourite of mine as well. I’m pretty sure first cassette I bought from Woolies was Now 81 or something like that.

Each and every song means something to me in my top ten favourite songs. I love the words in Seal’s Kiss From a Rose especially. Oh and Seal’s dreamy voice!

Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grave
Ooh, the more I get of you, stranger it feels, yeah
Now that your rose is in bloom
A light hits the gloom on the gray

What are your favourite songs? Are you more of a pop or a rock fan? As always I love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for stopping by.
