I have a week off work this week, so it’s the ideal time to catch up on relaxing movie time! Baby girl and I love watching films on the sofa when dad is at work, it’s our time.
This week sees the release of Spark. A thrilling intergalactic animated film with the adventures of a teen monkey, Spark – one small hero and his ragtag team.
Spark is wisecracking, teenage monkey who lives on an abandoned planet with his friends, Chunk the pig, a fox called Vix and some insects. Thirteen years ago, power-hungry Zhong seized control of planet Beta, wiping out Spark’s family and sending him into hiding. Now, Zhong plans to use the deadly space Kraken to destroy the entire universe and no one but Spark and his team can stop him.
Running at 87 minutes Spark is full of fun. Tons of action to keep little ones entertained. Full of great gags and adorable characters. I love the full on Hollywood cast! Voices from the likes of Patrick Stewart, Jessica Biel, Hilary Swank and Susan Sarandon.
Spark is definitely not your ordinary hero. He’s funny, a tad clumsy at times but so loveable. The fate of the universe depends on him, and he takes the challenge full on and is determined to succeed.
The animations are spot on, very clear, detailed and lifelike. If you are a fan of Despicable Me or Minions you will love Spark.
Spark is a fantastic good versus evil film and perfect for the whole family. So we are giving it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
Rated PG with some mild fantasy violence.
Thanks for stopping by today.
