I was a huge Winnie the Pooh fan when I was a child, many Pooh books were read. My favourite character was Piglet. Sweet and adorable Piglet. When we were given the chance to review these fantastic soft Winnie the Pooh toys it was more for me I suppose! Baby girl loves all soft toys, she has quite a collection. Adding Piglet and the adorable Winnie the Pooh comfort blanket will be certainly amongst her favourites.
We are huge fans of Mickey Mouse in our house especially the “Hot Dog” song/dance! Watching the new Mickey Mouse and the Roadster Racers cartoon has become our afternoon treat before tea. So when we were chosen to review their new Pit Crew Toolbox there were loud WHOOP WHOOPS! Maybe a little Hot Dog dancing as well!
It’s that time of year again for Christmas Shopping. You may remember my Christmas guide from last year where I did a selection of items for babies and kids. This year as baby girl is older I have put together a kids gift guide for all ages of children. Some bits will be suitable for younger and some bits for older children.
I do hope you find something suitable for your children.
I have seen the Shnooks advert on TV for a few weeks now. I wondered how on earth can they grow to 8x in size? Well when we got the chance to review the Shnooks I was eager to find out.
They are so adorable and has brought the big kid out in me. Baby girl is loving them! She keeps brushing their hair with the cute little comb that arrived with them.
We were chuffed to bits to be asked to try out the new My First Scalextric. For years and years I’ve always been a fan of Scalextric sets. They are great fun for all the family.
Baby girl is at that inquisitive stage and loves to explore. When she first saw the box she wanted to get in it! Then of course she decided to stand on the box, it will support the weight of a 20 month old!
The box is brightly coloured and is perfectly designed for preschoolers.

Baby girl and I love to build things with her toys. We build towers, play with her stacking cups and even love to pile up her teddies! So when we were asked to review Geomag’s Magicubes it was an offer we couldn’t refuse. I’ve always had more of a scientific than an arty brain. In fact my whole family is inclined that way, with my sister being an engineer as well.
We love to find out how things work and this has been passed down to baby girl. I believe that they are never too young to begin STEM learning and these Magicube’s are perfect to support this.
The first set of Magicube’s we tried out were the Polar Animals set.
