It’s unmistakeable – the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is upon us. It’s always a pleasant time of year, with cooler daytimes and red leaves, but we all know that winter is not far behind and if you live in one of the 1.6 million UK households that use home heating oil, you’ll also know that it’s time to fill your tank.
We’re all familiar with the traditional boiler breakdown on the coldest day of the year so far – it’s a cliché, almost. This happens, however, because people don’t prepare their boiler for the sudden demands they’ll be putting on it when the mercury drops. If you use heating oil, you’ve also got the tank to think of. It’s not just about filling it, it’s about making sure there’s no cracks, no water in the system and some other checks.
I always find upgrading my phone an exciting little job. Although I know others find it a daunting task. Nowadays most of us have mobile phones and many have theirs on some type of contract. It could be a pay as you go or a monthly contract. Either way it’s always worth having a look and see where you can save money. It could be that you have way too many minutes or texts that you don’t use each month or even data (if you are like me and use every bit of free wifi I can find!!) There is always a saving to be had.
Contact Numbers UK have asked me to come up with my best tips for phone upgrades and why it’s worth upgrading your phone for their #PhoneUpgradeTips campaign.
So here are my Top Tips regarding phone upgrades, how to move all your existing stuff on your old phone over and why it’s worth upgrading in the first place.
We all know what to do to protect our families before an accident occurs. Three good ways are to make sure everyone wears their seat belts, ensure that your vehicle is in top condition, and focus on driving. But no matter what precautions we take, accidents are almost inevitable. The good news is that it is even easier to protect your family after an accident than it is before the collision.
One phone call to a personal injury lawyer representing clients to protect them is usually all it takes. The attorney can then take care of the rest, from the medical attention your family needs today to the financial compensation they need tomorrow.
Are you planning on buying a new car? Now is the time to think about it because the new registrations are coming out in a few weeks. Who doesn’t like to drive around with a new reg? They do seem to have great deals around at that time as well.
At the end of June, funnily enough just a few days before we moved house my beloved Citroen C3 had decided to give up the ghost. I had her for years and years, in fact she was my 2nd only ever car. You see I don’t like to swop and change cars too often, I’m set in my ways! She begun to lose power, getting up a hill was very painful. Some of her injectors and turbo was gone. I knew because of her age a new car was on the cards later on this year, it’s what we budgeted for. I just didn’t think it was going to be a couple of days before we moved house! My stress levels were at an all time high!
I started blogging 2 and a half years ago and I now I can’t imagine not blogging. It’s not a hobby anymore and it’s not my day job, it’s more like my whole life. I can’t describe the feeling when I see a new email in my inbox, I’m so excited to see what new opportunity has come my way!
The internet is so important to us I can’t describe how I feel without being near wifi! Panic sets in! I’m one of those social media junkies! Needing to catch up what’s going on in the world.
When we decided to move, more than a year ago now I did start to panic a little on how could I blog without the internet. You hear stories of people waiting weeks to get back online after they have moved.
Now the Summer holidays are in full swing it’s time to think about what women’s holiday clothes and accessories to take away. I have made up my own checklist, it’s a weather depending list! Most Cornish Summers are destined to have rain showers at some point, in fact as I’m writing this the heavens have opened. Mind you it’s great for my newly turfed lawn!
I’m always someone who needs a list to check off when I’m going away or even the day-to-day jobs. It makes me feel prepared for anything. I’m hoping this checklist will be very helpful as you prepare for the holiday season.
