Why is it hard to find a perfect midi dress? You know a dress that’s not for the beach like a maxi one but a nice proper dress for going out to lunch. Or to a lovely Summer wedding.
I hunted around online looking at selections of midi dresses from Simply Be. I thought this is my chance to find it – a perfect midi dress for those special occasions in a plus size. It’s been 6 months since I had baby girl and my mum tum is still present along with a few other wobbly bits!
So as I said I spent a few hours on the Simply Be website looking through the vast selection of midi dresses in plus size to see if anything popped out at me. My luck was in. A gorgeous blue midi dress with a flowery design came on the screen.
What made it pop and a little different is the two yellow stripes on the dress at the bottom. As you can see me modeling it below.
I have really fancied the thought of having underfloor heating in my home at some stage. It’s much less obtrusive and you none of those eye sore radiators on the walls. Dust catchers I call them! The best tool to de-dust a radiator is a clean paintbrush. It gets right into all the little cracks.
This week we spent some time away. A day in Scarborough and some time in Derbyshire.
While we were up in Derbyshire I had to go to Bakewell. We always go there as it’s just a gorgeous place.
A few years back people started putting love locks on the bridge there. My husband and I put a lock on there as well but there are thousands on there now and we could never find it again. But I love to know it’s on there somewhere.
Are you spending more than you need to on heating your home?
Heating a family home can cost a small fortune and, like lots of people up and down the country, you might dread getting your energy bills. Particularly in winter when the colder weather strikes, you may find yourself paying a premium to keep your home warm and cosy. However, while there’s inevitably a cost to warming your property, it’s possible that you’re currently paying over the odds. If you think you might be wasting money, it’s worth asking yourself the following questions.
This Weeks My Sunday Photo is from St Michael’s Mount in Marazion. Wednesday was a gorgeous hot sunny day so my sisters and their friends decided to take a trip over to the mount.
I unfortunately stayed at home with baby girl as I think it would have been too much for her with how hot it was. Plus they had to go over by boat as the tide was in.
I know I have posted similar photos to this one but I just love the view over Malpas River in Truro. We were sitting in the car after arriving a few minutes early on Friday for our baby sensory class and in between the rain clouds the blue sky peeked through. The tide was practically out so it’s mainly mud you can see.
Not a bad view for a carpark!
