Preschool Books From Words and Pictures – Review and Giveaway

*Ad -gifted – We received these preschool books in exchange for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Books are so very important for learning and development. I’m a huge reader and pass this over to my girls. We have around 2- 3 stories each night before bed. So as you can imagine we get through a lot of books and I’m grateful to Words & Pictures for sending us over a range of preschool books to look at.

Preschool Books From Words and Pictures - Review

Tales From Nature

The books we received from this range were Bee and Ladybird. You follow these creatures as they go about their day. It’s a fantastic introduction to nature for preschoolers. They are bright, bold books with brilliant illustrations. There are a window or flap as you turn each page to help encourage the child to think about what happens next.

L has thoroughly enjoyed exploring these books. She’s tickled by the little windows in the pages. I love the facts and the colourful illustrations in the books.

First Concept Bath Book

These foam filled squeezable books are perfect for first concepts like colours and shapes. They are ideal for bath time learning and play with their bright bold colours.

Baby Dottie has been absorbed with these books inside and outside the bath. L knows her shapes and colours already so finds them good for checking, and she loves to read them to her sister.

Peep Through

The peep through book first concepts books are a great interactive series. Combing preschool concepts with original illustrations in an exciting interactive format.

The books invite the child to peep through the holes onto the next page, discovering new concepts and practicing coordination and motor skills.

We loved these books best of all. So much fun with at story time and much more interactive than a normal picture book.

  • Inspire a deeper knowledge of the world

  1. These are just perfect for my son. He is going through books quicker than I can find them! He reminds me of Johnny 5 from the film ‘Short Circuit’ who was always needing “more input”.

  2. These would be a great starter for my grand daughter, we like to have them reading a little bit before school

  3. Nice selection of books! My little one is starting in Reception in September, these books would keep her busy and learning this summer.
