This Mother’s Day in 2024 falls on Sunday 10th March in the UK. In the US it is the 12th of May. Why are they different dates? Well, in the UK it always takes place on the fourth Sunday in Lent, so exactly three weeks before Easter Sunday. And in the US Mother’s Day is always on the second Sunday in May.
